We have interviewed three 15 year olds, three 16 year olds and three 17 year olds. The reason why we have chosen to interview 9 people in total, is because we want a huge range of opinions. We interviewed males and females, both genders coming from a different background. This ensures that we achieve a different set of results, as the people will each have their own way of interpreting and answering questions. Our target audience is 15 +, hence why we chose 2 ages above.
We would have liked to record our interviews, rather than show a questionnaire on a sheet of paper, but unfortunately we did not have enough time to do this. (TIME MANAGEMENT AND WORK RATE NEEDS TO IMPROVE)
Overall, the feedback was quite positive and helpful. People who ARE and are NOT interested in horror, both enjoyed ur opening sequence.
Some of the requests were to make sure that the opening sequence looks real, and stick to it's naturality. Also, some would have liked us to reveal the identity of the "so called villain", but we felt that we will not reveal who or what it is, because we would like the audience to decide and make their predictions / presumptions. We want their views.
What we did take on board was the natural and realistic view of the opening sequence.
Our questionnaire really gave us a confident boost as well as working on the areas for improvements, and we felt that we would only take the advice to make the opening sequence look real. We felt that everything else was done to the best of our abilities. However, at the end of the day, it matters about what the audience have to say, and how we can listen to and do what their good suggestions tell us to. The feedback we received was quite helpful.
